屈子文化园位于汨罗江以北，京珠高速复线连接线以西，占地面积4.46平方公里，景区包含文化核心区、生态湿地保护开发区、互动体验区、田园综合体区、民俗体验区等。目前文化核心区已基本建成，预计2019年国庆期间对外开放，并同步启动后期建设。拟将屈子文化园打造成一个，以弘扬屈原爱国精神为主题的5A级文化旅游圣地、全球华人的精神家园、世界非物质文化遗产——端午习俗传承基地等。
